Its works by acting on megaloblastic bone marrow to produce a normoblastic marrow; inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase and reduces triglycerides levels in the blood; modifying the electrical activity thus relaxing and slowing overactive heart muscles; works in recovery process of damaged nerve cells
