Is Dawaxpress an authorized pharmacy?

Dawaxpress is the online portal of Phlox Laboratories Private Limited, which is authorized to sell drugs and other pharma products under the drug license no. XXXXX (Form 20) XXXX and food licence no. XXXXX. We have obtained all requisite licenses.

Does Dawaxpress ship medicines outside Lucknow?

Currently our operations are limited to Lucknow. But we do hope to expand soon.

Why do I need a prescription to get medicines on Dawaxpress.com

Sale of drugs is covered under various laws. Government of India has mandated compulsory prescription for certain medicines. While some pharmacies might entertain your orders without prescription, we do not let the pharmacies in our network entertain orders without prescriptions, and all lead generations are only on the basis of a valid prescription. This ensures you receive the correct medication. However, Ayurvedic products, medical accessories and other OTC products are sold without prescription.

What is an ideal prescription?

An ideal prescription should at least have the following things clearly visible:

1. Doctor’s Details (Name / Degree / Registration Number)
2. Patients Name
3. Date of Prescription
4. Dosage of Medicines
5. Doctor’s Signature

Please note that this is only for guidance and doesn’t guarantee the delivery of medicine.The final decision on accepting or rejecting a prescription will be taken by our partner pharmacy stores.

How can I send my prescription?

There are three ways to send prescription:

1. Upload a copy/picture on the website
2. WhatsApp the picture to us on 91xxxxxxxx
3. Email the picture to us on care@dawaxpress.com

Can I just buy another substitute medicine on my prescriptions?

Yes, you can buy other substitutes if your prescription lists the salt names instead of a brand name. In fact, you must engage with the pharmacy, and seek counsel of the pharmacist who will call you to help you better understand your medication. You can always encourage your doctor to write salts name on your prescription instead of a specific brand name.

Will the order be confirmed as soon as I upload the prescription?

No. As soon as the pharmacist verifies the prescription and the product is in stock, you will receive a confirmation email and SMS.

How do I know the medicines delivered are authentic?

While we take the utmost care in selecting our channel partners, the product is being supplied directly by the vendors associated with the Company and the Vendor concerned shall solely be responsible for the authenticity and genuineness of the product so ordered. Please check your products before accepting them. Having said this, we have put all our vendors through rigorous checks and periodically audit their activities to ensure that you always get the very best!

Do you have full range of products?

Yes. We try our best to honour all prescriptions and requests. However, if you are unable to find the desired product on our website, please notify us and we will try our best to provide you.

How is my order packaged?

Our medicines will be packed in plastic boxes/congregated boxes depending upon the order size. These boxes will be further kept with coolants or thermocol layering as per the temperature/pressure requirement. Moreover, the products are packed under camera surveillance to ensure quality.

If I want to cancel my order, what is the procedure?

You can cancel the order anytime before it has been dispatched for delivery.

Can I return unused medicine?

Yes you can return unused products from previous orders from us under following conditions:

1. We accept strips in full packing
2. It is 6 months before the expiry date
3. You are able to provide the e-invoice with batch number

Where can I check my order status?

You will receive regular SMS & Emails about your order. You can also track your order from your order history section. If there is any delay or change in your order, our customer care will call and inform you.

What if I can’t find the products/medications I am looking for in your website?

Dawaxpress.com stocks a wide range of pharmaceuticals and other healthcare products. However, if you do not find what you need, please feel free to contact our pharmacists by emailing to care@dawaxress.com. We will get back to you as soon as possible to let you know the availability of the requested medication/products.

Why was my order cancelled?

Your order can be cancelled due to the following reasons:

1. Old dated prescription
2. Failed pharmacist verification

Please feel free to contact our customer care to know reason for cancelation of your order.

Which Medicines do we not deliver?

We do not deliver medicines like Schedule X Drugs, Narcotic Drugs and Drugs which are banned by the FDA. May be data is showing these type of medicine but we can not deliver it.

Do you deliver medicines in emergency situations?

The network and pharmacies for whom we act as lead generation platforms, take pride in our quick service times, DawaXpress is NOT to be used in emergency situations. Please visit your nearest hospital or call on 108 for Emergency Medical Services.
